BOTANICAL PRESERVATION

KESIENA creates beautiful botanical artwork from preserved flowers. Using flowers and foliage that has been re-routed from events around NYC, she inspires us to reconsider floral waste. Along with repurposing florals, she also uses flowers organically grown within her community of sustainable florists + flower farmers.

To produce artwork that is unique, one of a kind and can be cherished as a keepsake, KESIENA is committed to using traditional slow pressing techniques for flowers. Ensuring her work is created with minimal impact on the planet and of the highest quality.

Each piece is created using real pressed flowers and foliage, meaning all flowers are completely natural. The process doesn’t use anything artificial to preserve them. This does mean that they will fade and change color over time, which is all part of the charm of working with nature. Though the colors will change, the pieces will always retain their beautiful organic forms.
